This piece was created during a time of uncertainty in my life. I was tired of sitting behind the computer screen but was also finishing a degree in design where I had to spend most of my days in front of the screen. I also had no idea what I wanted to do with my degree and was feeling uncertain. I created this as a very introspective installation series of my feelings at the time and my process of “finding myself” as a person and an artist. Using stencils to create typography in the outdoors was a beautiful cross of the things I love. Since, I’ve used non-invasive methods and continue to work toward leaving no trace.
